The company offers a variety of products, including fencing, chicken feed, archery equipment, lawn and garden supplies, work footwear, and men’s denim – over 120,000 products from 3,500 brands in their 12 retail stores.

North40 was looking to re-platform their website to Adobe Commerce and implement a new customer-centric ecommerce experience while enhancing the marketing capabilities. Some of the additional challenges that were to be addressed included:

With each retail store also a fulfillment center, it was important to sync inventory across the various stores with the website to provide users with the most accurate inventory. In addition, several capabilities were added including BOPIS, FIFO / LIFO Picking, Lot & Serial Number Tracking, etc.
Implementing customer profiles and segmentation allowed for personalization. Further, loyalty content could be determined based on the customer profile while marketing efforts could be optimized based on customer behaviors, preferences, and purchasing patterns.
Promotions are a critical part of retail industry, and Kensium extended the promotions capability of Adobe Commerce / Magento by adding various discounts based on customer order history, running weekly specials (flash sales), Free and Add-On Items, etc.
North40 was looking for an integrated ERP solution that is tightly integrated with their Ecommerce as well as Retail POS. With each of the twelve retail stores doubling up as fulfilment centers, order routing was implemented within the ERP to ensure optimized inventory levels as well as timely shipping and delivery of products to the customers. Acumatica with its real-time connection to Adobe Commerce was critical in handling the large volume of updates across product catalog as well as customer and order data.
