About SHOEBACCA

Founded in 2002, SHOEBACCA is a family-owned private company built on philanthropy and community principles. It offers a large assortment of footwear and apparel in the industry, providing a perfect fit for all. With SHOEBACCA's foundation in philanthropy and community, in addition to selling footwear and clothing, they sent shoes to third-world countries, fostering a culture of giving and service.

SHOEBACCA started as a reseller on eBay and, as they grew, launched a full-scale eCommerce website in the spring of 2007. Today, SHOEBACCA boasts a sprawling headquarters and a 250,000-square-foot warehouse in Irving, Texas, where they stock over 25,000 styles of shoes, accessories, and athletic gear – all at competitive prices.

The Challenge

As its brand became more popular, SHOEBACCA's customer base changed, selling to customers worldwide. With a complete ecommerce website, SHOEBACCA can expand its product line. As a result, SHOEBACCA needed to integrate additional technology to manage inventory, and omnichannel sales, create a robust product catalog and offer a streamlined checkout and shipping process. Due to the ever-increasing sales and need for large data transfer, SHOEBACCA focused on growth through innovative technologies to provide customers with shopping experiences across multiple channels like Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, and Walmart.

SHOEBACCA started with Magento (now Adobe Commerce) Open Source in 2016, offering customers the ability to shop on multiple platforms. As they grew, an upgrade to Magento Commerce 2.1 to manage large data processing and drive ecommerce growth by connecting Acumatica ERP to manage backend operations. This upgrade and integration help SHOEBACCA accurately view and manage new products and process its massive product catalog.

In addition to upgrading its website, SHOEBACCA looked to Kensium to connect Acumatica ERP, creating a robust set of tools to manage its business from end to end. The front end needed a way to handle the massive product catalog to keep it up to date, current inventory levels, and customer data. By integrating an ecommerce system with Acumatica, SHOEBACCA can manage all aspects of its business with real-time data sync and offer insights to target specific customer segments to market to customers wherever they are buying.
